We run a small, distributed research lab which meets weekly, with diverse participants.
Currently, primary research in the group is focused around the future of work with text in Extended Reality (VR/AR/XR). We think this research is crucial to do now, before headsets become part of our everyday experiences, so that we will not be blinkered (pun intentional) to the opportunities to what such environments and interactions can deliver, and not be stuck with the paradigms presented by the early commercial efforts.
We feel that is is vital to experiment in order to experience new interactions rather than keeping them abstract.
